Why Costa Rica |
This hidden paradise is a world famous exotic destination for some very good reasons. Costa Rica boasts of some of the most intense bio-diversity in the world and the nature here truly inspires ones senses with a grand variety of beaches, mountains, active volcanoes, rain forests and wildlife and actually has more species of birds and butterflies than the entire United States while its size is roughly that of Rhode Island. Costa Rica is probably as close to Eden as you can get.
Costa Rica is world famous for taking stringent actions to preserve its amazing natural resources and beauty. Costa Rica is so ecologically minded that 25% of Costa Rica’s territory is declared as national parks whereby, its resources water, flora and fauna are strongly protected. These actions have earned a world wide reputation as one of the most ECO-GREEN locations in the world. In this abundantly green country, you will find beautiful white sand to black volcanic sand beaches, every conceivable wave and surf ready break … volcanoes, dry tropical forests, tropical rain forests, valleys, rivers, mountains, and hills. Costa Rica’s evident natural riches have more than 12,000 vegetable plants and over 800 species of birds. The bird watching is fantastic.
This country also enjoys a stable democratic government with a tradition of non violent democracy and free elections dating back 115 years. Often coined by spinsters as (The Switzerland of Latin America) The current President, Oscar Arias Sanchez won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987 for helping to bring to an end to the Nicaraguan civil war.
One thing for sure, Costa Rica people are some of the most peaceful, non violent people you will ever meet.

Guanacaste, The Nicoyan Peninsula is the most diverse bio and ecological region in Costa Rica and it is steeped in rich Costa Rican culture. Here you will find an interesting mix of residents, Costa Ricans, North Americans, Europeans, Latin Americans, and South Americans….and just recently some Asians.
The International Airports provides non stop flights from destinations throughout the US and drops you 45 minutes from the pristine white sand beaches of the Northern Pacific or 45 minutes from tropical rain forest and active volcanoes with natural hot springs and volcanic mineral baths like the ones seen in the movie Jurassic Park (filmed in Costa Rica). In Guanacaste you will find both dry tropical forest, and white water rapids, 100 different beach scenarios and world class surfing, sport fishing, diving and five PGA standard golf courses all within a 65 mile perimeter.
